Steelworking
In Henningsdorf and Iserlohn we have the possibility of producing the steel construction elements for our projects ourselves. With our mechanical equipment we can execute the most varied production tasks. In this way we can react independently and in a flexible manner to your business needs. Beyond that, our engineering department is in a position to design and construct components for the foundry and steel works sectors.
With regards to our existing mechanical equipment particular mention is to be made to the following, in addition to a variety of small and medium-sized machine tools:
- Point turning (max. length 5000 mm, max. Ø 1400 mm)
- Boring work
- Horizontal- and vertical milling
- Sheet metal rolling up to 20 mm and widths of up to 2100 mm
- CNC- torch-cutting work (also plasma burning of highly alloyed steels). We program according to your drawings or process CAD files provided by you.
Here is an overview of our manufacturing and engineering capabilities from the steel construction:
- Manufacturing of components and welding complete structures from general structural steels and stainless or heat resistant steels
- We perform an in-house crack-testing according to the magnetic powder and color penetration method. We have a renowned testing laboratory for other destructive and nondestructive testing in close proximity.
- Execution of arc welding
- Welding of steel and stainless steel alloys - E; WIG; MAG; MIG
- Preparation of complicated welding structures and containers from steel, copper, aluminium and austenitic steels - Production of spare parts and mechanical processing of machine parts.
- Design and production of new equipment and components for the foundry industry (Slag grabs, T+P lances, ladle cars, water-cooled lids, etc.)
- Service, repairs, assembly and processing at the customers‘
