Automated pouring equipment for flask and flaskless moulding plants working with batch controlled stopper-rod pouring systems Three additional automated pouring plants for bronze casting alloys highlight the sales, scored in the past few months by Marx GmbH & Co KG. A patent pending pouring furnace model that substitutes expensive systems for pressurised casting processes, and makes it possible to pour with a temperature exactitude of +/- 5°C compared with manual ladle pouring, constitutes the heart of these plants. With this system, the constant static pressure required for a time constant pouring of equal liquid metal amounts is generated through gas pressure put onto the surface of the molten metal and directed through the overflow lounder (channel) to the pouring spout of the furnace. The disadvantages of this system (long overflow channel) are common knowledge. |
