Gear technology

The ladle tilting gear is a special safety-relevant component on crane casting ladles.

Our gear series possesses a 100% encapsulated casting encasement (spheroidal iron) in which all gear parts permanently flow in an oil bath. In order to guarantee a lifetime duration, all highly strained parts are case-hardened.

As a result of the usage of axle bearings, the light flow is guaranteed. All gears are equipped with an automatic break system that functions in both tilting directions. This system holds the ladle in any desired tilted position.

By twisting the hand wheel, the break is loosened irregardless of the tilting direction the ladle should be turned to. The loosening of the break is conducted jerk free and without noticeable strain.
